Aono-tsugazakura (Aleutian Mountain Heath)

Height: 10–20 cm Flower color: Yellow-green Blooming season: Mid-June – Early August
The urn-shaped flowers are shallowly divided into five lobes at the tip and hang downward like lily-of-the-valley, 4–7 on the end of each branch.
Distribution: Alpine meadows, Tsurugaike trail, Mt. Maō-dake, Kata-no-Koya, Ken-ga-mine trail
Note: Large clumps can be seen on the rocky area just before Kata-no-Koya along the restricted road.
