The Japanese name means “rabbit chrysanthemum,” referring to its two upright, hairy leaves that resemble a rabbit’s ears.
Distribution: Along Skyline, alpine meadows, Tsurugaike trail, Ken-ga-mine trail
Note: Clusters can be found around the 13 km point along the Skyline.
